Government ordered to pay €500,000 to Valletta property owners: The Headlines – The Independent

The Independent leads with a decision by the European Court of Human Rights ordering the government to pay €500,000 in compensation to the owners of a property in Valletta which was transferred to Bank of Valletta.

The paper also quotes outgoing PN MP Simon Busuttil as he prepares to take up a new position in the European People’s Party. Busuttil told the paper that although his time in local politics is coming to an end, his fight against corruption will not stop.
