The Indian Air Force (IAF) has introduced Apache AH-64E helicopters into IAF fleet during an induction ceremony, presided over by Indian Air Chief Marshal B S Dhanoa at the Pathankot air force station.

The first four of the 22 Apache AH-64E helicopters, built by US aerospace major Boeing were handed over to the IAF in July 2019, about four years after a multi-billion-dollar deal.

The helicopters flown by US Army are one of the most advanced multi role combat helicopters.
