Poland’s active cases keep rising

The Health Ministry announced 13,574 new confirmed COVID-19 infections in Poland, increasing the total number of cases recorded in the country to 1,794,914 including 267,061 still active. The number of active cases was 264,578 yesterday.

The ministry also announced 126 new fatalities, of which 25 were due to COVID-19 alone and 101 from COVID-19 and concurrent diseases. The death toll in Poland went up to 45,285.

According to the ministry, a total of 227,988 people are quarantined, whilst 1,482,568 people have recovered from COVID-19 in the country so far. As it stands, there are still 267,061 active cases of the coronavirus in Poland.

3,951,104 people have been vaccinated so far out of whom 1,424,715 received two doses of the vaccine.
