L-Orizzont quotes Prime Minister Robert Abela who said that the resignation of Justyne Caruana on Monday sends a ‘clear and concrete signal’ of the ethical level expected by the government.

The paper also speaks to Minister Owen Bonnici who said that the ‘best of times’ for the education sector is just starting. Bonnici declared that he wants Malta to make a name for itself in the area of education.

Another story reports that a 39-year-old man from Marsa is being kept in police custody following a string of accusations, including carrying out six hold-ups in ten days. The accused threatened the victims with a fake bomb.
