17-year-old from Malta who was responsible for the death of a biker in Poland, while driving without license, after drug use imprisoned for four years

A Maltese 18-year-old, who was driving without a licence, was imprisoned for four years, have a lifetime ban on driving  and was ordered to pay 30 thousand Zlotys in compensation for the wife of the deceased after found guilty of causing the death of a man while driving without licence and under the influence of Marijuana.

The incident happened in June of 2018, and he lost control of a Mercedes hatchback while on a curve and veered into the opposite lane, hitting the man and killing him on the spot.

According to the Piacezno’s District Court in Warsaw, the man was driving at double the speed limit of 30 kilometres per hour.
