UPDATED: 4.5 earthquake registered in southern Italy, tremor felt in Malta

In the early hours of Monday an earthquake of the intensity of 4.5 was registered in southern Italy.

The tremor was registered in the sea, 42km from Cetraro in the province of Cosenza in the Calabria region and so far, there have been no reports of damages.

The tremor in Italy was also registered in Malta by the Seismic Monitoring & Research Group of the Department of Geosciences at the University of Malta.
