The British online gambling company 888 Holdings Plc announced that it secured a gaming licence in Malta and established a server in Ireland to mitigate a potential disruption from Brexit.

888 became the second gambling company after GVC Holdings Plc to relocate servers hosting online gambling platforms to Ireland.

The company posted an 11 percent increase in adjusted pretax profit to $86.7 million for the year ended Dec. 31.
