With a message on Instagram, Italian singer Eros Ramazzotti critised the handling of the coronavirus outbreak in Italy

Currently traveling to Boston, in the USA, Ramazzotti remarked on  how Italy is viewed by international media because of the coronavirus emergency . The singer, said that in the United States, our country is seen as a nation “in disarray”.

He added “I have been in America for 1 month and from here the impression is of a country in disarray, of people who avoid themselves as if there were the plague, of total ignorance, of malice and galloping racism”.

Eros called himself ” truly shocked by all this but above all by a state that cannot handle such a situation, which does not help the citizen to understand what is really going on”.

He appealed to “be united, true, available and help each other because it is the only remedy. Nobody can help us more than our being civil and respectful of ourselves. Come on, let’s not break down and a solution will be found, I’m sure. ” Finally, he concludes with a strong message: “Proud to be Italian”.
