34 dead, 83 recovered as the total of people positive for coronavirus in Italy reaches 1,577

1,577 people are currently positive for coronavirus throughout Italy. The head of the Civil Protection Angelo Borrelli said it in the latest report on the disease, specifying that so far there are 34 deaths (five in the last 24 hours) while the recovered are 83. Since the beginning of the emergency, there have been 1,694 infected.

Until March 8, the Dpcm confirms the suspension of sporting events and competitions of all types and disciplines, in public or private places in Lombardy, Veneto and Emilia Romagna, as well as in the provinces of Savona and Pesaro and Urbino, provides for the decree, which however allows competitions to be held behind closed doors.

Furthermore, it is forbidden to travel to fans residing in the same regions and provinces for participation in sporting events and competitions that take place in the remaining parts of Italy.
