There are 14,955 coronavirus patients in Italy, 2,116 more than the last official count, while the total number of infected people – including victims and those recovered – reached 17,660. The data was provided by the emergency commissioner Angelo Borrelli at a press conference to the Civil Protection.
There are 1,328 patients admitted to intensive care, 175 more than yesterday. Of the 14,955 patients overall, 7,426 are then hospitalized with symptoms and 6,201 are those in home isolation. The dead are 1,266, 250 in a single day. Yesterday the increase had been 189 deaths. 1,439 people recovered, 181 more than yesterday, added Borrelli.
