Kosovo confirms its first cases of coronavirus

The government of the Republic of Kosovo on Friday 13 March confirmed its first two cases of coronavirus, both had arrived recently from Italy, by far the worst affected country in Europe.

The government has decided to suspend activities in schools, universities, cafes and restaurants for 14 days in a bid to control the spread of the COVID-19 disease caused by the novel SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
