Speaking in Cernobbio, Italian Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini said “I am counting on ministering for at least 5 years without being considered a killer, a criminal or a kidnapper”.
These comments came after there was what is understood to be a strong discussion between the coalition partners (Salvini and Di Maio), following Salvini’s outburst after the investigation announcement. The investigation is related to the case of the Diciotti.
Di Maio was reportedly saying that the judiciary needs to be respected.
