Niccolò Bettarini, accompanied by his mother Simona Ventura, was one of the guests of the episode of “Verissimo” aired on Saturday 15 September on Canale 5.

During their conversation with Silvia Toffanin, he referred to the dramatic attack last July, in which Niccolò, in a fight, had been stabbed several times.

“I think it’s normal to be afraid at certain moments,” he said. As they took me to the hospital, I kept telling myself that I could not and did not want to die like that.”

Niccolo then, did not hide that the biggest pain was seeing the parents’ terror: “The one who suffered the most was my family. For the first time I saw my father cry. Mom and Dad were both very bad and seeing them like that hurt me more than the 11 knives.

Simona Ventura also commented on the episode that changed their lives. “For a few months now I have been living the experiences of life and work with another perception. We have experienced this as a great signal, as if to tell us that values are others.”
