Malta: Over €14 million in rescue funds delivered

Kullħadd says more than €14 million have been released by the government so far to address jobs under threat. The paper says that separate measures by the Economy Ministry and the Family Ministry are supporting some 88,000 jobs.

Another story says that the number of active coronavirus cases have returned to those registered at the beginning of the month. Public Health Superintendent Charmaine Gauci revealed that there are now 195 patients in treatment.

The paper carries an announcement by the Embryo Protection Authority that deadlines for application for the free fertility treatment offered by the state is being extended by six months because of the outbreak.
