5-year old Inga G. is missing girl linked to McCann’s suspect murderer

epa08467809 A handout photo made available by the Milan branch of Italy’s Carabinieri police force shows an undated photograph of 43-year-old German convict Christian Brueckner, whom investigators are treating as the main suspect in the as-yet-unsolved case of the 2007 disappearance of British child Madeleine McCann in Portugal (issued 05 June 2020). German prosecutors said they were investigating whether Brueckner might also be linked to another missing child case in Germany. The McCann family was vacationing in the southern Portuguese Algarve region when Madeleine vanished without a trace a few days shy of her fourth birthday on 03 May 2007 from the bedroom where she was sleeping together with her two younger twin brothers. The girl’s disappearance received global media attention at the time; 13 years later, new leads have prompted German police to name Brueckner, who is currently imprisoned for unrelated crimes, as a new suspect in the cold case that once gripped the world.
