Malta: Yorgen Fenech paid for Jason Azzopardi hotel stay in Tel Aviv – UPDATE

Illum claims that Opposition MP Jason Azzopardi stayed at the Hilton hotel in Tel Aviv paid for by Yorgen Fenech in 2017. In a TV interview this week, the shadow minister for justice said he did not remember ever accepting any gift by the businessman.

Dr Azzopardi published in a reply he published on Facebook, confirmed that he did spend five days at the Hilton in Tel-Aviv, paid for by Tumas Group but he dismissed any wrongdoing, explaining it was paid for without his foreknowledge and insisted that claims form part of criminal web attempting to stop his work.
