Shortly before the funeral mass for Professor Oliver Friggieri, the funeral cortege passed through Floriana, where Friggieri was born and lived for the first years of his life.
Floriana was always very close to Professor Friggieri’s heart, so much so that although he did not continue living there after he married, Floriana remained a central part of him.
