Sea Watch anchors close to Syracuse after being allowed in Italian waters for safety

The Sea Watch has entered Italian territorial waters and is anchored a mile from the coast of Syracuse . The coastguard reported that admission was allowed due to bad weather.

The objective is to guarantee the safety of the 47 migrants who have been on board for seven days, and of the same boat. The Sea Watch is flanked by coast guard patrol boats and the security guard.
