Michelle Obama’s memoir ‘Becoming’ close to becoming the biggest-selling autobiography ever

Former First Lady Michelle Obama’s memoir ‘Becoming’ has sold almost 10 million copies. She is reported to have received an advance of more than $60 million from Bertelsmann’s Penguin Random House division and now the book is steering Bertelsmann to its highest revenue in a decade.

The book was published just five months ago and details her experience from childhood to her time as First Lady and everything is indicating that it could become the biggest-selling autobiography ever.

Barack Obama has also signed with Penguin Random House to publish his White House memoir. Bertelsmann hopes it will be published this year although no firm date has yet been set.
