Fire on an Air France aircraft at Florence airport

The quick intervention of the emergency service at the Vespucci Airport in Florence, Italy, brought a fire in the undercarriage of an Air France aircraft promptly under control. The aircraft had started the voyage in Paris.

The fire erupted as the plane, landed, most probably due to overheating in the undercarriage.

During the whole incident there was no disruption to flights to the other flights at the airport and there were no reports of any injuries to those onboard.
