L-Orizzont says that the PN delegation in the European Parliament has a voting track record in favour of amendments to introduce EU tax harmonisation. The paper says such a move would be a threat to 35,000 jobs in Malta.
L-Orizzont also reports that the EU cannot impose abortion laws on members. The paper quotes a 2013 supplement published in In-Nazzjon which said that abortion laws are the prerogative of member states.
