Judge Edwina Grima has turned down the request by Yorgen Fenech for her to abstain from his trial for the murder of Daphne Caruana Galizia.
Fenech’s defence team made this request because they said that Judge Grima may be presiding with other Judges on the appeal which may be filled after the trial.
