The Times says that prosecutors now have 20 months to set a date for trial for the accused. Experts from the Netherlands Forensic Institute, Europol, and the US Federal Bureau of Investigation, were involved in the investigation.

The Times reports on Bah’s testimony, too, who said that he came to Malta because he had heard that it was a safe country for migrants. The 27-year-old from Guinea was with Mohammed Jallow, 28, from Gambia, when the attempted murder took place.
