Osama Bin Laden’s son is dead – reports

The U.S. has reportedly obtained intelligence that the son of Osama bin Laden and potential heir to his terrorist empire, Hamza bin Laden, is dead.

The US has gathered intelligence that the al Qaeda leader’s son had died, NBC News reported, citing a trio of US officials.

The sources would not discuss details of where or when the younger bin Laden died or if the American military played a role in his demise, though the US did offer a $1 million reward for his capture in March.

Hamza bin Laden’s last known public statement, released by al Qaeda in 2018, included threats against Saudi Arabia and called on the people of the Arabian peninsula to revolt against their rulers.
