New authority against financial crime set up: The Headlines – L-Orizzont

L-Orizzont announces the launch of a national agency against economic crimes. Finance Minister Edward Scicluna, however, insisted that the fight against money laundering is bigger than any single authority or state and called for greater collaboration.

The paper also publishes an interview with the former president of the union of teachers, John Bencini. He warned that the factors leading to a shortage in educators must be studied before teaching staff is imported from abroad.
