Air Malta one of the first to comply with safety directive – The Headlines: The Malta Independent

The Independent quotes an Air Malta spokesperson who said that the carrier was one of the first to comply with new Airbus A320neo safety directive by the European Aviation Safety Agency. The body discovered an issue with the aircraft’s centre of gravity in July.

Another article in the paper carries recommendations by Peter Omtzigt who suggested that the inclusion of international experts in the inquiry would help to overcome any ‘reasonable criticism’ about the inquiry’s independence and impartiality.
