L-Orizzont says that the court upheld a 2015 ruling ordering newspaper The Malta Independent to pay OPM Chief of Staff Keith Schembri €2,000 for libel damages. The court said that freedom of expression is not a license to tarnish a reputation.
L-Orizzont announces that PL MEP Alex Agius Saliba has been elected co-chair of the European Parliament’s Intergroup committee on mental health. The MEP said that the parliament cannot remain still on the issue mental health.
