Archaeological Park of Pompeii opens to the public

Photos from the Regio V in the Archaeological Park of Pompeii in Italy which opened to the public along with the great discoveries this week.

Among the items on show is a fresco depicting an erotic scene from the Greek myth Leda and the Swan has been unveiled to the public for the first time in the ancient Roman city of Pompeii. Via del Vesuvio, the road on which the upper-class townhouse, or domus, containing the fresco is located, is also being reopened as well as the Central Baths and House of the Golden Cupids
