Two-thirds of retailers experiencing dip in sales: The Headlines – The Independent

The Independent speaks to GRTU CEO Abigail Mamo who said that the drop in business currently witnessed by the retail sector is worse than that in the 2008 global recession. A survey by the union last week found that two thirds of business reported falling sales, some a more than 50%.

Another story quotes PN Leader Adrian Delia who said on Sunday that the President of the Republic should have the power to step in when the Prime Minister ‘becomes a tyrant’. Delia said that the country’s foundations have been eroded.
