French High Commissioner for Pension Reform Delevoye resigns because of conflict of interest

French High Commissioner for Pension Reform Jean-Paul Delevoye (L) arrives to attend a meeting where French Prime Minister Philippe will unveil the details of a pension reform plan before the CESE (Economic, Social and Environmental Council) in Paris, France, on the 11 December 2019 (reissued 16 December 2019).

Jean-Paul Delevoye presented his resignation on 16 December 2019, following a controversy about an alleged conflict of interest and holding various positions and remunerations at the same time while being part of the French government.
