The Times quotes Jonathan Ferris who told the public inquiry board that he did not trust assistant Police Commissioner Ian Abdilla and recalled how he found the senior officer standing beside a magistrate when he was called to testify in an inquiry over Electrogas.

The paper also asks Prime Minister Robert Abela about the MTA contract awarded to Konrad Mizzi. The Prime Minister said that he only learnt about it when it was revealed in the media but said that the former minister “did not receive a cent” for the consultancy role.
