Charity ship makes four rescue operations in one day: The Headlines – L-Orizzont

L-Orizzont says that NGO Open Arms made four rescue operations a few hours apart on Wednesday to bring 282 stranded migrants safely to port. The paper reports that among the rescued migrants was a five-year-old wounded boy.

The paper also reports on the Caruana Galizia public inquiry on Wednesday where former inspector Jonathan Ferris said that he never met Daphne Caruana Galizia and that the journalist never asked him for any information.

Another story follows the situation in Libya and says that new Turkish vessels are sailing to Tripoli to defend the city against attacks from Khalifa Haftar. Sources on the ground told the paper that the situation could escalate in the coming days.
