Harrison Ford agrees to Indiana Jones 5

Harrison Ford has revealed he will soon pick up his Indiana Jones hat and whip for a fifth instalment in the action-adventure franchise.

During an appearance on Ellen DeGeneres’s chat show, the 77-year-old actor said filming is set to start in the summer.

The actor also told press at the premiere of his new movie The Call Of The Wild: ‘I can’t tell you any details, but I’m delighted to come back. ‘We made the efforts to make it fun and ambitious as the originals. It’s going to be good.’

Indiana Jones 5 will be directed by Steven Spielberg and could be the 77-year-old’s last run in the role. It won’t be a reboot, but instead carry on the saga we last saw in 2008’s The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull.

The Star Wars actor has been playing the role since Raiders of the Lost Ark in 1981. It was followed by Temple of Doom in 1984, and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989.
