A 24-hour strike by Alitalia pilots and flight attendants has been put off from Friday until September 6, unions announced.
The unions took the decision after appeals from the strike watchdog and the transport ministry.
On Tuesday the ministry reduced Friday’s planned strike from 24 to four hours.
