Angry Trump says both Israel and Iran violated ceasefire

US president Donald Trump said on Tuesday that both Israel and Iran violated a ceasefire he announced hours earlier and he was not happy with either country but especially Israel.
Speaking to reporters before leaving for the Nato summit in The Hague, Trump said Israel “unloaded” right after agreeing to the deal.

Regarding Iran, Trump said the country’s nuclear capacities are gone and it would never rebuild its nuclear programme.
Shortly after stating that Israel and Iran had both violated the ceasefire agreement he brokered, Donald Trump warned Israel not to drop further bombs on Iran.
He said in a post on Truth Social:
ISRAEL. DO NOT DROP THOSE BOMBS. IF YOU DO IT IS A MAJOR VIOLATION. BRING YOUR PILOTS HOME, NOW! DONALD J. TRUMP, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES
Before boarding, he told reporters he was “not happy” with either side for violating the truce, particularly with Israel, which he said had “unloaded” straight after agreeing to it.
“There was one rocket that I guess was fired overboard after the time limit and now Israel is going out. These guys [have] got to calm down,” he said.
He adds that he didn’t like “plenty of things” he saw yesterday.
The president continues: “We basically have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard that they don’t know what the fuck they’re doing.”
Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz had said he had ordered the military to mount new strikes on targets in Tehran in response to what he said were Iranian missiles fired in a “blatant violation” of the ceasefire.
Iran denied launching any missiles and said Israel’s attacks had continued for an hour and a half beyond the time the ceasefire was meant to start.
In both countries, the wider Middle East and around the world there was palpable sense of relief that a path out of war had been charted, 12 days after Israel launched it with a surprise attack, and two days after the United States joined in.
Trump had announced the ceasefire with a post on Truth Social: “THE CEASEFIRE IS NOW IN EFFECT. PLEASE DO NOT VIOLATE IT!”
