Anna Falcone, the elder sister of renowned anti-Mafia prosecutor Giovanni Falcone, has died at the age of 95, her family announced on Monday.

Giovanni Falcone was killed by Cosa Nostra in May 1992, just three months before the murder of his colleague and close friend Paolo Borsellino. Falcone was 53 when a huge bomb laid under the Palermo-Airport highway at Capaci blew him up.Borsellino was 52 when he was killed in July that year.
