Another earthquake rocks Albania

A new earthquake of magnitude 4.3 struck Albania on Thursday evening.

The Albanian seismological institute said the epicentre was nine kilometres north of Durres.  The American USGS gave the intensity as 4.4.

Last month a 6.4-magnitude quake in Albania left 51 dead.

The tremor, the strongest to hit the country in decades, struck in the early hours of the morning on 26 November as most people were asleep. More than 14,000 people were left homeless.
