A new earthquake of magnitude 3.0 on the Richter scale was recorded just before 6.00 pm in the province of Florence, a few days after the seismic swarm that struck the Mugello valley on December 9th.
According to what reported by the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology, the epicenter of the earthquake is located about 5 kilometers east of the municipality of Barberino del Mugello, while the hypocenter would be just 8 kilometers deep. At the moment there is no damage to things or people, but the mind of the residents immediately went to the 4.5-degree shock felt last Monday.
