Anti-government protests in Lebanon persist

Since October there have been big, mainly peaceful protests in Lebanon but the situation is slowly changing.

Lebanon has faced weeks of anti-government protests, driven by widespread anger at corruption among the sectarian politicians who have governed the country for decades. The protesters are now demanding that they go.
