Berlin school sealed, students and teachers evacuated following ‘threat situation’ – UPDATE

German police gave the all clear on Tuesday after sealing off and searching a primary school in Berlin and the surrounding area, prompted by a phone call alerting the authorities to two ‘suspicious people’ entering the school.

“There is no dangerous object or dangerous person in the school. All the pupils and teachers are safe,” said a police spokesman.

Earlier Associated Press released the news that police in Berlin say they are evacuating pupils and teachers from a primary school in the Germany capital, citing a suspected “threat situation.”

In statements on Twitter, police said Tuesday the school in Berlin’s Gesundbrunnen area was being cordoned off and searched.
