Thousands of fans were disappointed Saturday night when, in Berlin, the Irish band’s concert was suddenly canceled after Bono seemed unable to sing. “It’s not right for you. It’s useless Bono told the audience, after stopping to drink from a thermos before the show was canceled.

The surprise cancellation increased fears that the “Experience + Innocence” could stop.

A hypothesis that Bono firmly rejected with a post posted on the official website of the band that reassures fans: “I was visited by a very good doctor a great doctor who has ruled out any serious problem with his vocal cords,” said U2 frontman .

Promising the Berlin public that the band will return at the end of the tour for a new concert on November 13th.

The next concert of the band in the band’s program is in France; the tour will then move to Portugal, Spain, Denmark, Germany, Holland, Italy, Great Britain and Ireland.

On Friday evening, during the first of the two shows scheduled in Berlin, Bono condemned the recent violence of the extreme right in the city of Chemnitz , in eastern Germany.

During the concert, the slogan #wirsindmehr (we are more) used by opponents of the extreme right German was also projected on the stage, to encourage the crowd.
