Brussels Airlines cancels 105 flight due to Thomas Cook bankruptcy

Brussels Airlines have announced they will cancel 105 flights in October due to bankruptcy of tour operators Thomas Cook. A decision that is affecting 3,500 passengers.

 All the holidays that have been booked in Belgium, will be cancelled, but holidaymakers can get a refund.

This follows a Ghent court decision that declared the bankruptcy of 3 Belgian sister companies of Thomas Cook: Thomas Cook België, Thomas Cook Retail and Thomas Cook Financial Services with consequence that  75 workers lost their job.

Brussels Airlines cancelled the flights between 10 and 31 October, about 2 percent of our total number of flights.
