Burglars break into Salvini’s home in Rome

Burglars on Sunday night broke into the Rome home of Deputy Premier, Transport Minister and rightwing League party leader Matteo Salvini, police said Monday.
The home intruders reportedly did not manage to break into the safe, sources said.
It is not yet known whether they succeeded in making off with other objects.
No one was in the flat at the time.
