Cargo ship full of sheep overturns off Romanian coast in the Black Sea

The Queen Hind ship, under the Palau flag, loaded with 14,600 sheep, overturned on one side in the harbour of Midia Navodari, Sunday, November 25, due to excessive loading, and sinked partially.

All sailors on board are Syrians, the crew being composed of 22 members. The sailor who fall onto the waters was rescued and is safe now.

Only 33 animals were saved. For the rest, who were drowned, a corpse destruction procedure will be used. The losses are estimated at 3 million RON (630.000 EUR).
