Caruana Galizia family say they would not accept to be ‘blackmailed by public servants’ – The Headlines: The Times

The Times follows the case of a priest accused of involvement in the theft of sacred works of art from a convent in Valletta. Fr Deo Debono was instructed to remain silent and in prayer while the investigation continues.

The Times quotes a statement by the Caruana Galizia family who said they would not allow to be ‘blackmailed by public servants’ after the Prime Minister suggested he would be prepared to drop libel suits if they accept the findings of the Egrant inquiry.
