The Times leads with climatic studies predicting that Malta’s climate will become more similar to that in the Middle East. James Ciarlo from the National Institute of Oceanography and Applied Geophysics says that record head in June in a clear sign of human-made climate change.
The Times reports that Malta has failed a test by monitoring body Moneyval and has now until 2020 to bring its anti-money laundering systems up to speed. Malta did well in only two of the eleven key areas assessed by the body of experts.
