The Times reports that the Commissioner for Data Protection has launched an investigation into a data breach at St Vincent de Paul residence. Personal details of residents wre published online and emailed to members of the staff.


The Malta Independent says PN general election candidates on Gozo told party secretary general Clyde Puli they will not seek co-option to the seat vacated by David Stellini. Puli dismissed claims that he encouraged candidates to contest against Kevin Cutajar.


L-Orizzont also reports on the co-option process within the PN and says that candidates Joseph Ellis and Maria Portelli turned down propositions to contest the election in the Executive Council, arguing that Kevin Cutajar should be co-opted.


The Times says that Bezzina Ship Repair Yard Ltd. is suing the UK government over unpaid services on the HM Protector. The Maltese company says payments due amount to more than €140,000.
