Sky: A Czech tourist has died after being attacked by a shark while swimming in the Red Sea off the coast of Egypt.
The man died 12 miles north of the city of Marsa Alam as “a result of an attack by a shark”, city council chairman General Atef Wagdy said.
Local media reported that human remains were found on a beach near Marsa Alam.
General Wagdy said people who swim on the surface in deep waters beyond the coral are vulnerable to attack.
A shark killed a German tourist off Egypt’s Red Sea coast in 2015 – the first death in five years.
