Demonstration in Milan to show solidarity with Auschwitz survivor and Senator Liliana Segre

Hundreds of mayors and other supporters gather for a rally entitled ‘Hate has no future’ to testify solidarity with Holocaust survivor and Italian Senator for Life, Liliana Segre, in Milan, Italy, on Tuesday evening.
Around 600 mayors’ took part in the demonstration that crossed the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. At the passage of the procession the people lined up on the sides of the Gallery applauded the Segre, flanked by the mayors of Milan and Pesaro, Giuseppe Sala and Matteo Ricci, shouting his name as a sign of support.
Liliana Segre is currently under police protection due to repeated anti-Semitic threats.
