The Times reveals that the director and shareholder of Satabank was the bank’s main client through another payment company. The paper says that a system of virtual IBANs meant that the identity of depositors may not have been known by the bank.
The Times reports that MPs Marlene Farrugia and Godfrey Farrugia resigned from Partit Demokratiku and that they will not seek re-election. In a letter to the committee they said this will give the party time to rebuild before the next general election.
